Jay Kerkhof — venture builder for impact

Build.Enable.Operate.

I enable impact-driven people with concentrated ability to build around their strengths — through ventures, systems, and the AI layer that makes both run.

What I do
01 —
AI Fluency Onboarding

A generalist method for domain experts. Built around your real work, your judgment, and the way you already create value — not generic AI courses. I help you turn AI into a working layer.

Infrastructure
02 —
Venture Building

From concentrated ability to operating structure. Co-architect, not consultant. I stay in the room until something is real — from challenge onward.

Co-builder
03 —
Impact Fundraising

For impact-driven individuals building organisations. Not grant-hunting. Capital architecture — grant, equity, philanthropic, corporate fee — matched to what you're actually building.

Learning by building the machine

I build with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Supabase, Python, and LLM APIs — using Codex and Claude Code as build partners. Not as a traditional developer, but as a venture builder who can now turn strategy, data, and client workflows into working systems.

Next.js homepage, portal, and timeline routes
React components shaped around real client workflows
Supabase databases for portals, CRM structures, and workflow infrastructure
Python scripts for research, cleanup, and structured data work
LLM API calls for custom agents and reasoning layers
Codex and Claude Code as build partners, not magic buttons
About

I lost the old structure. I kept the method.

personal archiveThe road so far →
The pandemic wiped away the business I had built. The years after that became an unwanted but useful education — in setbacks, health, family, money, identity, and what remains when momentum disappears. It was not a clean sabbatical. It was more like an MBA in losing the script and learning what still works when the old structure is gone.

What remained was the pattern: enabling people with concentrated ability, building around their strengths, and turning scattered potential into something that can actually operate.

Right now I'm building an agentic AI operating layeraround that method — with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Supabase, Python, and LLM APIs. I'm not claiming to be a traditional developer. I am far enough along to build useful systems, direct my own agents, and help domain experts turn AI into infrastructure.
